Regional Overview
The Australian Environmental Division – operating in the worlds’ driest continent – is uniquely structured to provide specialist services to the Water Resources Sector in addition to the Traditional Environmental work conducted globally. The sub division, within the Australian Environmental Division was formalised with the acquisition of Ecowise Environmental in December 2009. The Wollongong Environmental Service Centre is part of the Australian network of ALS Environmental Division Laboratories. The Service Centre provides Logistic, Business and Technical Support to Illawarra Region Clients and some chemical analysis in the form of dust deposition and HVAS analysis.
The centre provides a sampling service, quotations, technical advice, sample containers, sample pick up and container delivery. The laboratory is part of the New South Wales Hub, reporting through to the Sydney Laboratory.
