All Consignments
- Samples should be packed in cooler boxes, standing upright, with sufficient foam packaging to limit movement and potential breakage during transit.
- Ensure that all lids on containers have been tightened.
- Include a copy of your Chain of Custody paperwork.
- Place the ALS address sticker prominently on the top of each item within the consignment.
- Place the ‘fragile’ sticker and ‘keep chilled’ sticker (supplied) prominently on each consignment piece.
- Send the consignment and accompanying documentation through a reputable courier service company and notify the laboratory with shipping details so that the consignment can be tracked.

Regional Overview
The ALS Group Environmental and Food & Pharmaceutical divisions operate one of the largest and most diversified laboratory networks in Asia. ALS has laboratories with extensive analytical capabilities in China, Singapore, Hong Kong, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia and Taiwan.
The scope of services include; environmental monitoring (sediment, soil and water), air monitoring (stack gas, stationary source, ambient, indoor and industrial hygiene), food, microbiological testing, cosmetics, Chinese proprietary medicines, electronics (RoHS and micro contaminant monitoring), petroleum products and oil trending analyses, and biological fluids testing. A strong commitment to technical leadership is available through an experienced and highly skilled staff group (in excess of 550 staff in the region), state-of-the-art facilities and the latest instrumentation. Instrumentation includes; GF-AAS, ICPOES, ICPMS, GCFID, GCMS, GCECD, HPLC, LCMSMS, discrete analysers, automated titration equipment, SEM-EDX and FTIR.

Located in Taipei county, ALS Taiwan operates in accordance with ISO 17025 and is accredited by both the Taiwan EPA and Taiwan Accreditation Foundation. The laboratory provides both sampling and analysis to the environmental and industrial hygiene sectors.
Environmental field services include soil and groundwater sampling, accredited by the Taiwan EPA, as well as onsite mobile laboratories for EIA studies. The laboratory services include; metals, inorganic, organic and microbiological analyses.
