Capabilities
The environmental laboratory in Santiago provides analytical services to the central and southern regions of Chile for government agencies, consulting firms, and a variety of industrial sectors such as petroleum, cellulose and aquaculture. The mining industry concentrated in Northern Chile is served by the Environmental Division laboratory in Antofagasta.
The Santiago environmental operation specializes in organics analysis and is the central provider of this service for ALS in South America. Complete packages for organic contaminants in water, soil and air cover the analytical requirements of regulated parameters in this region such as the determination of Volatiles/Semi-Volatiles, Pesticides, Petroleum Hydrocarbons and other related compounds.
Regional Overview
ALS Environmental has three locations to serve South America. The head office for South America in Lima, Peru supports the laboratories in Santiago, Chile and Antofagasta, Chile.
