The Salt Lake City facility is a NELAC accredited, full-service laboratory providing environmental and industrial hygiene analytical services to government and private clientele. This laboratory performs a full range of organic and inorganic analyses on a wide range of sample matrices including groundwater, surface water, wastewater, soil, sludge, and hazardous waste. The Salt Lake City location also performs a variety of specialty analyses.

ALS Salt Lake City, formerly DataChem Laboratories, is a premiere provider of industrial hygiene analytical services in the United States. We provide quality data to assist our clients in promoting human health. We have been accredited by the American Industrial Hygiene Council (AIHA) since 1974, and served as the primary contract laboratory for the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health for over 30 years.

ALS Salt Lake City is a NELAC accredited laboratory providing environmental analytical services to government and private clientele such as the EPA, Departments of Defense and Energy, and numerous environmental engineering firms. In supporting environmental investigation and monitoring programs, ALS Salt Lake performs a full range of organic and inorganic analyses using SW-846 and EPA methodologies on a wide range of sample matrices including groundwater, surface water, wastewater, soil, sludge, and hazardous waste.

We provide analytical services to assist with the detection and removal efforts of site investigators, offering mycological, endotoxin, and bacterial analyses, including microbial culture techniques, spectrophotometry, microscopy, and GC/MS methodology, on a variety of sample matrices. The lab provides dietary supplement testing for unwanted or unintended compounds that may ruin a product's quality, as well as, testing for active ingredients and inert materials in the final product.
