Regional Overview
The Australian Environmental Division – operating in the worlds’ driest continent – is uniquely structured to provide specialist services to the Water Resources Sector in addition to the Traditional Environmental work conducted globally. The sub division, within the Australian Environmental Division was formalised with the acquisition of Ecowise Environmental in December 2009. The Geelong Water Resources Laboratory established as a result of the acquisition of the Barwon Water laboratory in 2001 is part of the extensive Australian network of the ALS Water Resource Group. The NATA accredited facility provides chemical, microbiological and algal analysis and sampling services to the greater Geelong and South-West Victorian Clients and works closely with the Melbourne (Scoresby) laboratory in order to provide specialist testing for the region.
The Geelong office provides quotations, technical advice, sample containers, sample pick up and container delivery. The laboratory utilises the extensive laboratory capability of the Melbourne (Scoresby) Laboratory to enable comprehensive services in water analysis.
